Sydney snippets…

Leica M240, Monochrom/35 summilux and 90mm summicron

 

In Sydney for a meeting, we set off across the harbour bridge at 6am to try and catch the sunrise from Kirribilli…The Harbour Bridge is a great vantage point for viewing the Sydney Opera House….the weather though was unkind and we were faced with a cloudy and rainy dawn….

Black headed Ibises are everywhere in Sydney

 

Though the Sydney Botanic Gardens is easily accessible from most parts of the city centre, it is a charming oasis and well worth spending some time at….. I was also pleasantly surprised that the birds were close enough for my to shoot them using my rangefinder Leica M240 with a 90mm F2 lens only….
