Mount Bromo revisited….

As part of our photographic expedition, we had planned to go to Mt Ijen but unfortunately it was deemed too active a volcano for visitors so we revisited Mt Bromo where we had been a year ago….a year ago we got to see the ‘sea of clouds’ as dawn came and the cloudsea rolled in…

this time I shot a sunset over bromo and took a walk in the village instead of crawling out of bed at 230am to shoot the milky way and catch the dawn……

And in the morning, I went for a walk in Bromo town and the farms around…

as the sun rose, the ponies were brought out..

Bromo and its environs is a special place…it’s cool and well worth a visit.  The accommodation here is a bit wanting though so you have to rough it a bit….
