Leica M240/ 35 summilux F1.4, Noctilux F1.2
Having just picked up my ‘new’ 40 year old Noctilux f1.2 here in HK, we boarded the tram from Central to Happy Valley to visit the F11 photographic museum which we thought had a Leica exhibition on. The HK tram (and star ferry and subway and streets) make great subjects for photography…

The door handles looked familiar….indeed the owner of the mseum Mr Douglas So had had his door handles modelled on the speed dial and film rewind lever from a Leica III! How cool was this!
We were a little disappointed to find that there wasn’t a permanent Leica exhibition and instead there was a photo exhibition by Bruno Barbey, a Magnum photographer who was showing his china photos. There was also an instant camera exhibition. Despite no Leica exhibition, we actually quite enjoyed the museum which was obviously a labour of passion of its young and enthusiastic owner Douglas So …who also kindly showed us around. …
This is a little gem of a museum if you are at all interested in photography.
