We explored the Nee Soon Swamp area along the water pipe hoping to find some snakes ….we didn’t find any snakes that night but I found other quite fascinating critters ….

the pretty green snail was seen on the pipe itself

this beautiful spider appeared

and this spider appeared on the forest floor

yet another colourful spider

The waters of the swamp lamp also teemed with life…

So although the herping was not successful, the Nee Soon swamp forest yielded many other interesting creatures….
