Staying at the new Hyatt Regency Hotel near the Sabarmati Riverfront development, it was but an easy walk to the waterfront. The Gujarat government has spent a lot of money on developing this waterway into a clean and green lung in the city.  The sun rises around 630 am….

Setting out at dawn, the moon is still seen above the Hyatt Regency

even the crow was waiting

Eventually the egg yolk appeared

the river terns were active

and made the sunrise more interesting

The terns were busy picking fish up from the river

So even though the hotel is right in the city, this clean waterway is clean and easily accessible with much to offer.
