Chengdu Birding: Guixi Ecological Park

In Chengdu, Szechuan Province, China for a recce visit prior to our conference to be held here next year, we stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel which adjoins the Century City Convention Centre in the southern suburbs of Chengdu, a city of 22 million. Opposite the hotel is the large Guixi Ecological Park, the ‘Central Park’ of Chengdu….Perfect for my usual 630 am walk before meetings start at 9 or 10am.

crossing the road, I spent 90minutes in the East Side of Guixi Eco Park walking around Midnight Silver Lake and the rest of the park…

All in all, a great 90mins worth of birding in Guixi Ecological Park: Recommended
